Its understandable that one gets bored doing the repetitive tricks again and again. But then, surfing is not about performing, its rather more about becoming one with nature.
Stop thinking, start enjoying:) Just surf for fun.

Everyone at some point gets fed up with Second Life. Perhaps things are taking shape in real life that change and effect our feelings. What ever the reason is, when you spend this amount of time in a game you are bound to lose interest at some point. It's like getting cable movie channels for the first time and loving all the choices. But before long you notice it's the same things rerun over and over on different channels. This is a fact of life.

However, I will be the first to admit that its time there is a change and upgrade to the way we surf in Second Life. Over the last few months Heather and I have been working on new systems and animations that should improve the Second Life surfing experience. We have created a surfing HUD for tricks and moves for casual surfing. Heather is working on hard wiring the tricks into the boards to be used for competition. We understand that many feel pressing a button to do a trick would not be in the spirit of competition. We have considered this and are working hard to address that concern.

We value the support and passion of all surfs across SL. Not only who have supported our products, but everyone that has contributed to the surfing community in Second life.

Ask around and I think you will find its not all about a board and a wave. Its about community, friends and a way of Second living. People have the GOR, elves and Tech.. we have our sun and waves. That's who we decide to be and most of us love it. - Sebastian Saramago.
